My HGUC Sinanju progress so far. First I started off with some seam line removal.
The knee guards,
fuel tanks,
knee joints,
and forearms.
For the sleeves detail, I used the reverse enamel wash. It wasn't easy, especially since this was the first time I've ever done it. I painted with primer, Tamiya Gold, Testor's Clear Coat, and then Testor's Gloss Black. Then I took some lighter fluid and some Tamiya cotton buds and went at it carefully. I messed up a couple of pieces, so I've had to re-paint those to try again. Here's a couple of photos of my results.
Overall it turned out pretty well except for the black shield piece and a collar piece. The collar piece somehow got some dust stuck in the paint and it looked awful. And since the lines are recessed on the shield, I think I'm going to try and mask the shield instead of enamel washing to achieve better results. Next up is painting all the red parts, which are currently in progress.
