MG Wing Proto Zero

Here is the Wing Proto Zero! The TV version of the Wing Zero is my favorite gundam, and in my opinion this version makes it look even better. ( Though I might still buy a TV version Wing Zero MG if they came out with one ) I added a little extra color separation to the kit with some light gray and some military green spread throughout the kit. I also decided to give it a dose of weathering to spice up the look of the kit. I also lost the tip of one of the buster rifle's gun barrels, so I did a little modification to compensate for that lost piece. I haven't really seen a Proto zero with my type of "look" so I hope whoever might be reading this will think it's at least a little unique. This kit is not painted except for the weathering and the green and gray parts.

Spray Paints
Valspar Gray
Krylon Italian Olive
Krylon Metallic Silver

Hand Paints
Testor's Aluminum
Testor's Gun Metal

This kit was a lot of fun to put together, though the finish product is a little weak in the leg joints and back heavy. The wrists also don't hold up the twin buster rifle too well when it is one piece. The shield is also a little cumbersome when trying to pose the kit. However, these are minor things, and I really loved the model. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

A preview of what's coming!

For anyone who might stop by, I haven't forgot about this blog. I'm just really busy right now. So with that in mind, here is a tiny preview of what's to come. An MG Wing Proto Zero along with some more stuff that you can see there in the background! Wing Zero is my favorite gundam, so I was happy to pull the trigger on this guy when I saw him for a decent price on Amazon. I'm trying to make him look all nice and pretty and do a few unique things to the kit as well. I always like to put some alternate details into the kits I build and find it hard to buy one if I can't see something I can do beyond it's stock color scheme, even if it's one of my favorite mobile suit designs. Whether or not that's a full on custom color scheme, some extra color separation, weathering, or other things, I always have to do something. Hopefully this guy will have a few nice surprises when I'm done. Enjoy this single photo, and I wish you well to whoever is reading this!
